Our theatrical beginnings

Pop Up Wagga began with a group of like-minded actors and theatre enthusiasts reminiscing about past performances. Discussions soon turned to adapting a comedy TV series about Shakespeare's origins, leading to our first successful production, "Something to Crow About," which raised funds for Kooringal Rotary. This initiative quickly solidified our commitment to both community theatre and charitable giving.

Meet the people behind the magic

Bringing our performances to life is a dedicated team. Fay Walters, Viv Harling, Anna Swift, and Bob Hitchens were the key instigators in getting Pop Up Wagga off the ground. Their passion and leadership are instrumental in every production, ensuring that each show is a memorable experience for our audiences and a successful fundraiser for our chosen charities.

Making an impact in our community

Beyond the stage, Pop Up Wagga is deeply committed to making a positive impact. Our desire to raise funds for charities like Kooringal Rotary is central to our mission. We also aim to bring quality theatre to outlying rural areas, making mainstream performances accessible to communities where it might otherwise be difficult to attend.

"The success of their Coolamon performance was incredible. They truly bring joy and culture to regional areas."
